We are pleased to welcome Jeff Witchel to Solovant as a Senior Graphic Design Consultant & Adobe Instructor, expanding our expertise in professional graphic design, Adobe Creative Cloud, creative workflows, and corporate training.
Jeff brings decades of experience as an Art Director, Creative Director, graphic design consultant, author, and educator. His career combines professional creative practice with extensive experience teaching designers and helping creative professionals develop stronger technical and production skills.
Decades of Professional Design Experience
Throughout his career, Jeff has worked as an Art Director, Writer, and Creative Director, developing and leading creative work for major organizations and brands.
This industry experience gives Jeff a perspective that goes well beyond teaching software. He understands how design tools are used within real production environments, where creative decisions, deadlines, collaboration, technical requirements, and efficient workflows all play an important role.
At Solovant, Jeff will bring this experience to both professional training and creative workflow consulting, helping individuals and organizations improve not only how they use their tools, but also how they approach design and production.
Deep Adobe Expertise
Jeff has worked with Adobe applications for decades, with particular expertise in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. For many years, he held Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) credentials and has been deeply involved with the Adobe professional community.
He has served as Adobe’s Co-Representative to the Adobe User Group of New Jersey and as an Adobe Community Expert and moderator on the Adobe Forums, where he has shared his knowledge with designers and Adobe users.
His extensive experience allows him to teach Adobe applications within the broader context of professional graphic design, rather than focusing only on individual features and tools.
An Experienced Educator and Author
Jeff is an Adjunct Professor at Kean University’s Robert Busch School of Design, where he brings his professional experience into the classroom.
He is also a LinkedIn Learning author and a speaker at the CreativePro Week Conference, sharing his expertise with creative professionals beyond the traditional classroom.
This combination of professional practice and education aligns closely with Solovant’s approach to professional development: learning should connect technical knowledge with practical application, professional workflows, and real-world creative challenges.
